Known for playing a string of strong characters in a career spanning across 11 years, Vidya Balan is one of the finest actresses that Bollywood is so proud of. She does a very few films, but the movies she agrees to be a part of have something so strong and intense in them that they go on to hit the right chord of the audience more often than not. The talented actress has done around 21 films in her career so far, out of the three films have been immensely successful and one even brought her the most prestigious National Film Award. In 2016, Vidya appeared in only one film – ‘Kahaani 2’, which was a sequel to his super successful film ‘Kahani’ released in 2012. The film was liked by the audience just like its predecessor. Currently, the actress takes home Rs. 8 crores per film.
