In September, Selena Gomez had announced that she would be taking a break from social media. Photographs of the actress turned singer had appeared on the social media profiles of her friends, Wizards of Waverly Place co-actor Bailee Madison and Connor Franklin. Other photos show her posing with YouTuber Aaron Carpenter, actor Austin North, and model Geneva Natalia. In October, it was reported that she was hospitalised after suffering an "emotional breakdown".
