Adventure tourism includes mountaineering, trekking, hang gliding, paragliding, bungee jumping and white water river rafting. The Ministry of tourism has identified a list of place in India for thrilling and extreme adventures sports, mostly in Gulmarg, Jammu & Kashmir, Rishikesh Uttarakhand, Goa and Maharashtra.
