No one killed Najeeb, HC allows CBI to file closure report

                                                                   KILLED NAJEEB

Country’s top investigation agency the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today got a go-ahead signal by the Delhi High Court to file the closure report in the missing case of   Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) student Najeeb Ahmed, who mysteriously disappeared in October in 2016 from the campus.
A Bench of Justice Vinod Goel and Justice S Muralidhar permitted the Najeeb’s mother Fatima Nafees to move the trial court for a status report and to raise grievances before it when the report is being filed.
But the High Court rejected Fatima Nafees’ plea seeking a further probe by another special investigation team comprising different officials and not belonging to the probe agency.
