Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan celebrated her 40th birthday on November 1 and instead of throwing a lavish party, the former Miss World chose to spend a quiet evening with her college friends.
“Lately Aishwarya Rai Bachchan barely has time for family, let alone friends. Her husband Abhishek, in-laws and her parents complain she is so much on the move with her baby Aaradhya that there is no time for the family to catch up with the mother-daughter duo. Aishwarya is so hands-on mother that she takes Aaradhya everywhere for her professional engagements,” said a source close to the Bachchan family.
Given her tight schedule, chances of meeting up with friends are difficult, so Aishwarya invited her close college friends for dinner on her birthday.
